Dr. Kevin Perman

Phone (301) 571-0000
6420 Rockledge Drive, Suite 4300 | Bethesda MD 20817

Specializing in eyelid and facial plastic surgical procedures, with 25 years of combined experience Dr. Perman will meet with you in consultation to discuss your individual concerns and formulate a treatment plan designed for your individual needs. It may involve just one procedure such as an endoscopic brow lift, or upper/lower eyelid blepharoplasty, a midface lift or a lower facelift/neck lift. Some patients benefit from just one of these surgeries, others may require a combination of some or all.

During your consultation, you will receive a frank, honest, thorough evaluation of your entire face, and receive an education in facial anatomy as we break down your facial components into thirds (rule of thirds).

      Top Third-brow/upper eyelid

      Middle Third-lower eyelid/midface

      Lower Third-jaw line/neck

To round out your surgical evaluation we may discuss “facial fine tuning,” that is, dealing with fine wrinkles, skin quality, and any small volume deficiencies.

Cosmetic Surgery Bethesda MD and Washington DC

After all, if you’re going to have surgery to restore the foundation, you should want the facade covering that foundation to be as fresh. It might be as simple as a neurotoxin (e.g. Botox, Xeomin or Dysport) for those crows feet and/or frown lines or a filler (e.g. Juvederm, Perlane, Belotero, or Radiesse) to augment volume loss around the mouth (marionette line), lips (lipstick lines) or nasolabial folds.  If larger volumes are indicated, fat grafting may be an appropriate consideration.

Non-surgical office injectables or a light chemical or laser peel may be all that is indicated for a fresher look and certainly may be a reasonable compromise for patients who might not see surgery in their immediate future.

Remember our surgical mantra, “LESS IS MORE”, so we will propose a minimum of surgery to get you the maximum result. You will have time to think about the proposed plan and to ask any questions. We do not schedule your surgery at the time of your consultation. We are not selling surgery TO you, we are formulating a surgical plan FOR you. We will not push you; we will give you options from which to choose. We want you to feel good and enthused about your proposed plan.

We look forward meeting you. Bring lots of questions. We believe that a well-informed patient is a satisfied patient. Pictures of patients who have undergone similar treatments that we may discuss are available for your review at the time of you consultation. We do not display our patients’ images on the web. Your privacy, along your safety and satisfaction, is a priority.
