This is a weakening and/or scarring of the eyelid
supporting tissues can lead to an inward (entropion) or outward (ectropion) turning of the
eyelid, causing secondary irritation, swelling, and left unattended, eventual damage to the eye
itself. Dr. Perman will implement a surgical plan to return the eyelid to its
normal position with a minimally invasive outpatient surgery. The vast majority of these
eyelid malpositions can be corrected with one surgery.
