Kevin I. Perman M.D. has practiced in the greater Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Haymarket Virginia and Maryland areas for over 30 years. Upon returning from his Fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center in 1984, he founded the Center for Eyelid and Facial Plastic Surgery, the first practice in the area solely devoted to the art of eyelid, orbital, and aesthetic facial surgery. 

As co-founder of the Journal of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the official publication of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), Dr. Perman has written, co-authored and edited numerous articles and book chapters on both reconstructive and aesthetic facial plastic surgery topics. He enjoys teaching appointments (past and present) at UCLA Medical Center, George Washington Medical Center, Georgetown University Medical Center, he has co-directed the Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Clinic and the Washington Hospital Center as well as consultant for National Childrens Medical Center.

Besides his private consultation practice with offices in Fairfax, Bethesda, Haymarket and downtown Washington D.C., Dr. Perman has been an invited instructor/teacher for injection and surgical techniques to practicing cosmetic surgeons as well as surgeons in training worldwide.

Dr. Perman lives in Bethesda with his wife, a nurse/attorney, where they raised three daughters. He is an avid photographer and collector. Photographs from his collection have been displayed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Phillips Collection.

  Dr. Perman
has 30 years of lectures and courses for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery centered on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face. This includes face lifting techniques, endoscopic brow and mid face procedures, laser resurfacing for facial rejuvenation, surgical procedures for treatment of Graves (thyroid) disease,and  transconjunctival blepharoplasty.  International meetings with live surgery demonstrations and well as injection techniques for the use of Oculinum toxin (Botox).
