The most common eyelid malignancy is basal cell carcinoma, representing 90-95% of malignant eyelid tumors. Biopsy to confirm the suspicion of malignancy followed by total surgical excision with reconstruction is the treatment of choice. Surgery offers a superior cosmetic result with the lowest rate of recurrence.
